Exam in three days, law students yet to receive hall tickets

Final year law students affiliated with Mumbai University are facing a critical situation as their hall tickets and assigned exam centers are yet to be provided just three days before their exams. The semester V exam for the 3-Year LLB course, scheduled to commence on November 29, is causing considerable stress for students who are still awaiting essential documents.

Colleges attribute the delay to technical glitches in the system, while the university claims that the problem stems from the colleges’ failure to complete the registration process on time. Students are expressing anxiety as they cannot appear for the exams without hall tickets, and the uncertainty about their exam centers adds to the distress.

Earlier this month, law colleges affiliated with the university had reported technical issues in uploading student marks, a crucial step in the registration process for final exams. College principals had anticipated delays in hall ticket distribution due to these problems.

Despite requests from student organizations, such as the Student Law Council, to postpone the exams, university officials have denied any current plans for rescheduling. They emphasize that there was ample time for colleges to complete the registration process, and efforts are ongoing to ensure the remaining colleges complete the process promptly. The university exam section will be working on Saturday to address the situation and issue hall tickets as needed.
